I didn’t accomplish much of anything today but I wasn’t behind in doing anything which is a first in a long time.
I left work early because…there was no work to do. I think they caught on that I’ve done nothing but read books so they let me leave. Friday is my last day. I was approached by the Director (of Nationwide Insurance) today who told me that she wanted me to come in and work for a few weeks to a month completing the subpoenas that I’ve been working on at night and a few other major tasks as well so I may be able to pay rent next month. Christmas is still iffy.
I received a child support check for $4.92. Perhaps I can buy my kids a can of tuna fish or spam or something for Christmas. Thanks, I guess.
I cleaned out and washed the car, continued my winter-spring cleaning binge of getting rid of all ‘old’ stuff. The dishes are done. The garbage would be taken out if there wasn’t a police helicopter circling my house. Had a good dinner of lasagna rolls, med salad, garlic bread and wine. I plan on polishing off the evening curled up on the couch with a blanket, book, and glass (or two…) of wine. The only thing that might make that even better is if I took a super hot bath first. I like coming out of the bathtub all warm and pink and soft and then wrapping up without clothes in a soft blanket. Pure bliss. I think I’ll save that for tomorrow night.

How was your Thursday night?
Den
Hey Denny,
It was lucrative. I was supposed to meet some guy in a hotel lobby to sell him my Pocket PC and GPS. Thankfully, he passed the Starbucks on the way and called to tell me to meet him there instead. Temperance went with me. Stopped by my mother’s and got a few things, including a check my grandparents had sent. So all in all, I made about $400 this evening.
How were things in Seattle? I assume you were with your wife and her family?
Sorry I wasn’t getting your messages clearly earlier. My text-inbox is full and I have to delete a message every time I want to read a new one.
Seattle was cold. My wife was working most of the time. I spent my time hopping between cafes with free wifi. I was working on a paper for school. See you later. I’m happy to hear you had a good Thursday.
